Aké
Aké has and great variety of attractions; an hacienda that for years has blossomed thanks to the meticulous care of its owners, ancient legends which surround it, antique shredding machines where the “Green Gold” (henequen or sisal) is still worked, "Sac-Bes" (Maya roads), a cave cenote and a group of ruins and stone mounds, archaeological remains of the glorious past of the Maya people.
X'Cambó
Still considered a place of pilgrimage and worship to the Virgin of X’Cambo who, according to tradition, appeared at the site over 50 years ago, and has been venerated ever since in the chapel built over the pre-Hispanic buildings. Besides its historic importance, the site is situated inside a natural and ecological environment.
Oxkintok
Visitors to Oxkintok, although infrequent, are immediately struck by the contrast of energy and tranquility in the air as they pass through the sole entrance to the Tzat Tun Tzat or ancient labyrinth. In old Oxkintok there was also a secret gateway to Xibalbá, the underworld. Deep inside the intricate passages and levels, archaeologists found a mortuary chamber containing the remains of one of the great lords of Oxkintok.
Yaxuná
A great archaeological zone whose importance is captured in its possession of the longest “Sacbé” (white road) of the Maya region. This road makes a 100 km straight line to the city of Cobá. The “Sacbé” is also considered a temple and the simple act of traveling it brings a blessing of immunity and protection.
