SUNDAY.
"Mérida en Domingo". Activities and recreational, cultural and sporting events for all the family. Colonial Downtown from 9:00 to 21:00. Events free.

For the last 20 years, a Sunday market known as “Mérida en Domingo” has been held in the center of town.

As its name indicates, every weekend a full program of musical and cultural shows and a wealth of craftwork stands spring up in and around the Main Plaza, along Calle 60 and Hidalgo, de la Madre and Santa Lucia parks. Artistic pieces worked from wood, silver and marine conch shells, clothes and leather goods, books, coins and antiques can be found, as well as all the delights of regional street food.

MONDAY.
Regional Dancing, Vaquería Regional, with the participation of the Chichén Itzá Jarana Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Carlos Uicab Chalé and the Folklore Ballet of the Council of Mérida. In front of the Municipal Palace from 9 pm, Calle 62 (between 61 and 63) Downtown. Free show.

TUESDAY.
"Musical Memories". Big band music from the past, with the Banda Continental, under the direction of Maestro Carlos Uicab Chalé, in Santiago Park from 8.30 pm. Calle 72 and 59. Downtown. Free show.

WEDNESDAY.
Casa de la Cultura del Mayab (House of Culture of the Mayab - craftwork shop). Music from the past. Banda Continental and the voice of “Don” Nacho Torres. Calle 63 (between 64 and 66), Downtown. Entrance free. Theater Wednesdays. Regional theater performances. Garden of the Composers (west side of the Municipal Building) at 9 pm. Free show.

THURSDAY.
The traditional Yucatecan Serenade. A romantic tradition, with music from the Trova Yucateca, presents regional folklore in a poetic, sentimental evocation of our customs. Santa Lucia Park at 9 pm. Calle 60 and 55, Downtown. Free show.

"Remembering is Living". Live music from the past performed especially for seniors. Centenary Zoological Park at 4 pm. Free show.

FRIDAY.
University Serenade in the central courtyard of the Autonomous University of Yucatán. Calle 60 and 57, Downtown. Free show.

Romantic nights in Ermita Park. Music from the great composers, with a mix of romantic rhythms, lyrics and verse. First and third Fridays of every month, from 9 pm. Calle 66 and 77.

SATURDAY.
Mexican Night". Performers of the Mexican Song, marimba, Folklore Ballet, and Northern Groups. In the remate at the beginning of Paseo de Montejo Avenue. Calle 56A between 47 and 49 from 7 pm. Free show.

In the heart of Mérida, the streets of the Historic Center are closed to allow an array of singers and artists to perform, where music and dancing are synonymous with joy and festivity. Every Saturday from 8.30 pm.
